If the odor is accompanied by redness, itching, burning or unusual discharge, you might have a yeast infection; a fishy, ammonia-type smell suggests bacterial vaginosis, which can trigger preterm labor. See your OB-GYN, who may prescribe an antifungal or antibiotic.
