Healthy Recipe: Blackened Tofu on Caesar Salad
Extra firm tofu, cut into 1″ cubes.
Blackened Mix
Canola oil
Coat tofu on all sides. Use a cast iron pan and coat it with some oil on a medium flame. Cook until tofu is nice and dark. Serve on a big Caesar salad.
Blackened Spice Mix
- 1 cup Garlic Powder
- 1 cup onion powder
- 2/3 cup paprika
- 1/3 cup cayenne
- 2/3 cup oregano
- 1/3 black pepper
- 1/3 cup cumin
- 2/3 cup lemon peel
- 1/3 cup tumeric
- salt

Caesar Dressing
- 1 ½ olive oil/canola
- 2 T white vinegar
- anchovy paste
- 2 garlic pressed
- 3 T lemon juice
- 2 T Dijon mustard
- 2 t white pepper
- ½ cup parmesan cheese
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
Add all ingredients except eggs and whisk or blend in a blender. Stir in eggs.
