Early Signs Of Ectopic Pregnancy

An ectopic pregnancy occurs when an embryo implants in a place along the fallopian tube other than the uterus. n a normal pregnancy, your ovary releases an egg into your fallopian tube. If the egg meets with a sperm, the fertilized egg moves into your uterus to attach to its lining and continues to grow for the next 9 months. Most often, ectopic pregnancy happens within the first few weeks of pregnancy. You might not even know you’re pregnant yet, so it can be a big shock. Doctors usually discover it by the 8th week of pregnancy. Here are some of the experiences from victims.
I had a ectopic pregnancy, and rupture in 2008. I was about 8 wks. along, and my doc. found I was preg. but I was bleeding lightly and they ran tests and confirmed I had a ectopic preg.I was given 2 mexatrate injections and they did not work. On Feb. 5th 2008 at 5am, I got up to go to the restroom and when I sat down I ruptured. Words can not describe the pain that I felt. Most people don’t know, but you only have a 3-4 hour window to get help once you rupture. The internal bleeding from the rupture is massive. The shoulder pain that comes with the rupture is actually called referred pain from internal bleeding. I knew that I was going to die that morning if I didn’t get help fast. Thank GOD I wasn’t alone that morning cause the pain was so intence that I couldn’t even move from the toilet. My husband heard me screaming and called 911. I would recommend to any women that has a ectopic preg. to get the surgery A.S.A.P. I can’t have childern anymore since I had my rupture. May GOD be with you…
I found out I was pregnant at 4 wks. I was so happy. Then I started having some pain and went to the ER. They found the sac and ruled out a ectopic pregnancy. One week later I was having pain and so I went to sleep and the next morning the pain came back. This time I was bleeding not much blood but it was scary. So I decided to go to the ER and they said I had miscarried so me and my boyfriend grieved. The next morning we went out to eat and I had real sharp pains in my stomach went to the ER. They didn’t see the sac and said that my miscarriage was complete and they was going to send me home with some pain medicine. To make this long story short I put in a complaint and the OB doctors came down and did a laparoscopy and found out there was an ectopic pregnancy and removed my left tube. I am still confused on how they had seen a sac when I was five weeks and then the sac disappeared at 6 weeks and it could be ectopic and ruptured leaving me with one tube.
